Grant MacAllister is a cinematographer based in Los Angeles, CA.

Grant is a member of the International Cinematographers Guild IATSE Local 600. In 2023 Grant was recognized for his artistic achievement in cinematography and was awarded an Emerging Cinematographer Award from Local 600 for his work on the film Blood Positive.

In addition to his work in film and television, Grant has shot commercials for major brands including Gibson Guitars, Epiphone, Mesa/Boogie, AAA, Snapchat, Honda, Tastemade, Pinterest, Starbucks, The Home Depot, Amazon, Philips, and more. Grant’s work with Gibson Guitars has garnered multiple Gold and Silver Telly Awards for branded content commercials and short-form documentaries.

Over his career Grant has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including Slash (Guns N' Roses), Steven Tyler (Aerosmith), Iggy Pop, Adam Jones (Tool), Rex Brown (Pantera), Billy Gibbons (ZZ Top), Demi Lovato, Brian Johnson (AC/DC), Jimmy Page (Led Zeppelin), Noel Gallagher (Oasis), Kirk Hammett (Metallica) and more capturing their performances and stories with his distinctive visual style.
